synopsis:

Before The Bourne Identity or The Manchurian Candidate, Brechtís parable, set in 1920s British Colonial India, witnesses a young man transformed by His Majestyís army into the perfect soldier, his thoughts and fate controlled as his mind is dismantled and reassembled like a machine.
